There was 18 inches of snow in the driveway when I came into camp on Wednesday. Today it is suppose to rain up to 15mm. That will help the ice melt. I was still walking on the ice yesterday with no problem. Launched the pontoon. lol We have the phone working and the internet. Debbie has the lodge spotless and I have assessed the winter damage.
A couple Mallards showed up yesterday occupying the 3ft of open water by the boat ramp. They had a nice feed of corn. The Pussy willows are starting to come out and I have seen a few butterflies and insects. Spring is not far away!
