A warm dry spring is all it takes for the Grouse to have a bumper crop year for Grouse hunting in Northwestern Ontario this upcoming fall. We have seen at least three different hens with chicks feeding on the lawn at Woman River Camp. Broods range from 2-8 chicks. When there are that many in such a small area, fall bird hunting will be good in our area. Check out the video Valerie-Ann help me post to YouTube. You can also view more photos on our Facebook Fan Page. It is absolutely amazing how Mother Nature has camoflaouged these birds to keep them protected from their enemies.
Contact us about a fall hunt, fishing/hunting combo. Smallgame season opens September 15th.
