Little Walleye Lake is a double portage lake located east of Spot Lake. A 25 minute boat ride from Woman River Camp puts you at the Spot Lake portage landing. Hike the Spot portage and then boat across Spot Lake to the portage trail to Little Walleye. A short trail takes you up and over a ridge and then down to the lake.
Like the name says, Little Walleye Lake is not very big. Roughly 800m by 600m (.5x.3 mi) in size but has depths over 30ft. Don’t let the size fool you. This lake is home to trophy Northern Pike, excellent Walleye and chunky Smallmouth Bass. The water is tea stained and the fish are hungry!
We have one 14ft boat with three seats for a comfortable fishing trip. You must book Spot lake to be able to fish Little Walleye Lake.
Little Walleye Lake is a Catch and Release Lake Only
